Poetry in the Parlour was held in the back room at the Red Lion Evenley, near Brackley. Words and wine flowed in moderation……There was always a great variety of reading, new and old personal writings, favourites from other poets. Above all, it was a friendly environment in which to share the spoken word aloud. Not everyone likes,or even wishes,  to do this, but performance sometimes opens doors that may not otherwise be discovered.
